Camping at Elk Ridge

We went camping
this weekend to get
away from it all.
It was a blast, we had
a pretty relaxing time.
Well at least until the bear
decided to come
and visit us. Max starting
barking, and Kathryn
looked over, and there
was a bear about 50 yards
from our camp.
Max and myself followed
it for awhile taking pictures.
I guess he was sick of the
"tourist" cause he hissed at us, and acted
like he was going to charge. We saw all
sorts of wild life. We saw about 6
bull elk, one was huge. A few big deer,
I hope they are there in Sept. A horny toad,
lots of birds and bugs, baby and mama deer.
We had a good time. The weather was perfect.
It was good to get away and relax...
